Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026 · Applies to all MakerPro add-ins for Autodesk Fusion 360

This policy explains how the MakerPro add-ins (BoltMakerPro, TapMakerPro, PipeMakerPro, FrameMakerPro, and the upcoming MakerPro Suite) handle data. MakerPro Design runs no servers of its own that receive your data.

What the add-ins access

To check whether a Pro subscription is active, an add-in reads the user ID of the Autodesk account you are signed into within Fusion 360 and sends it, together with the product ID, to Autodesk’s own entitlement service at apps.autodesk.com over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. The service replies only with whether your subscription is valid.

What is stored

The result of that check — a one-way hashed user ID, a valid/invalid flag, and a timestamp — is cached in a small file on your own computer (under your user profile, e.g. ~/.makerpro/). This lets the add-in keep working briefly offline. Nothing is stored on any MakerPro server.

What is not collected

The only outbound network request an add-in makes is the subscription check to Autodesk’s entitlement service described above.

Free users

The free tier works the same way; the entitlement check simply returns “not subscribed,” and the add-in runs with its free-size limits. No additional data is collected.

Payments

Purchases and subscriptions are handled by the Autodesk App Store and its payment processor (PayPal). MakerPro Design never sees or stores your payment-card details. Please refer to Autodesk’s and PayPal’s privacy policies for those transactions.
